Packing and Moving Services
- Keep your jewellery / cash / valuable documents in your custody / Lock before the packing get started.
- Carrying liquor, gas cylinder, acid or matchbox is totally prohibited. Please do not try to send these items with your valuable goods.
- Get dismantled all the modular furniture's with the help of a professional carpenter / retailer.
- Carton Box made of 7 ply (160 gsm) or 5 ply (180 gsm), corrugated paper is to be used for packing of crockery / book / clothes / utensils etc.
- All the furniture's to be wrapped with air bubble(quality of bubble should be 60 no/6kg per 100 meter ) then double wrapped of corrugated paper and finally plastic lamination. This will provide protection to the furniture from being scratched.
- For better packing you can ask for foam (white) of 6 mm instead of air bubble. Make sure that the packer makes strong base and corner with the help of corrugated paper for the safety of furniture's leg and corner.
- Electronic Equipment's: Use of original carton boxes is better than packing material. If you do not have the original boxes then you should ask to use Thermocol (18mm), air-bubble or foam, corrugated paper (doublerapping) with side corners and plastic film.
- Front load (door) washing machine should be locked before packing; otherwise the drum of washing machine will get breakage.
- Minimum five layers of paper is better for packing of crockery item means a crockery item should be packed with minimum 5 paper sheets and Thermocol should be placed in bottom and top of carton box before fill up packed crockery item.
- Plastic film is essential on the carton box of cloth, books, toys and crockery.

- Three Wheeler: This vehicle moves with in city and within 200 km area (one Almirah, Fridge, T.V, Washing Machine, 5 carton and one dismantle plain bed can be loaded in the vehicle).
- Four Wheeler: TATA ACE can contain all the above items with 4-5 extra carton boxes.
- TATA 407: This vehicle move within state and with special permit can be move up to nearest state, sending this vehicle out of state will be costly instead of part dispatch, and can contain extra one box bed, sofa set, with all the items of a and b.
- TATA 407/14 ft.: This vehicle move within state and with special permit can be move up to nearest state and can contain two Almirah, sofa set, two bed, TV., Fridge, Washing machine, computer with table, 20 carton, one showcase.
- TATA 709/17 ft.: This vehicle moves within India excluding hill area and can contain motorbike or 15 more cartons box extra then TATA 407/14 ft.
- TATA 1109/19 ft.: This vehicle moves within India can contain extra two box Diwan, motorbike with goods of TATA 709.
- 24 ft. Taurus Vehicle/10 Wheeler: Packers use this vehicle only for adjustment of the goods in part load and not suitable for sending direct house hold goods.
- Container (24 ft./30 ft./32 ft.) if you are having double goods of TATA 709 then you can use this container, some big company are using this vehicle only for adjustment purpose, after loading your material they are loading another materials from their warehouse, and please make sure that the container do not contain any hole. One small tiny hole can be responsible for damage of all your goods.
- Car Carrier: This vehicle is suitable for car transportation but rare available from Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore due to heavy demand and contract with car manufacturing company but easily available from Kolkata to Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

There are two type of insurance:
1. (a) Transit Insurance by insurance company:- Under this insurance you can claim on insurance company incase of vehicle accident or theft or Fire in route.
(b) Incase of above three incidents you require one FIR copy and photograph of incident or other proof, this will be provided by the packers or transpoters or lorry owner.
(c) Charges are Rs. 350/- to 500/- for per lakh value of your material.
2. (a) FOV risk(Freight on value/Carrier risk/all risk):- Charges for this risk is Rs.3000 for goods value of Rs. 1,00,000 /-.
(b) Under this risk policy, packers or transporter will be responsible for any incident/transit damage/water damage/breakage/etc.

1st Step
- Fixed up a House at Transferred City with Good Water facility and other utilities as per your requirement.
- Find out a suitable school/college for your children near your house and try to get admission form in advance.
2nd Step (PRE-DEPARTURE)
- Call packers & Movers for Quotation for shifting of your house hold goods.
- Finalize the Date of Packing & Lifting with packers.
- Book your consignment at carriers risk only.
- Inform friends and relatives the date finalize for packing & moving.
- Disconnection of gas connection, telephone & others utilities services and collect deposit if any.
- Take transfer certificate from school/college.
- Take NOC from RTO for vehicles.
- Transferred you bank account.
- Inform postal department / Neighbor regarding your new address.
- Keep traveler cheque/ticket /credit card/valuable jewellery in convenient place for easy access.
- Take Xerox copy of RC books & insurance copy in case of car/scooter/TPT.
- Keep yourself free to be with packing team while the job in on.
- Empty and defrost refrigerator 10 hour before packing.
- Collect advance deposit from house owner.
3rd Step (DESTINATION)
- Be present at the time when your shipment arrives at your doorsteps.
